Dennis E. Schroader, Sr.
Founder
Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Dennis Schroader Sr. is the founder of the Price of Freedom Foundation.
Dennis was born into a military family in 1956, moving many times until he entered high school. He went to college on an Army ROTC scholarship and subsequently began his own 24-year military career, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Dennis held various management roles in several companies since his military retirement, most recently with AmerAssist and Chamberlain University.
Dennis and his wife Penny moved to White House, Tennessee, in 2016 and plan to make it their home for the foreseeable future.
Dennis has five adult children and ten grandchildren.
Dennis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Seattle University and a Master of Education from the University of Puget Sound.
John Hope
Board Member
John C. Hope is a retired, service-disabled Army Colonel with over 35 years of service. He is a West Point graduate with a degree in Engineering. He continued his education and military career in Strategic Studies and Military History. Since retiring, his passion in leadership development led him to become a Master Certified Leadership Coach with Intelligent Leader Executive Coaching (ILEC).
Mr. Hope founded Leading With Hope to educate and inspire businesses and professionals in leadership development, corporate culture transformation, and ethics facilitation.
Mr. Hope is a member of Business Networking International (BNI) in Williamson County, Tennessee, the American Legion Post 5 in Nashville, and the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Mark F. Roberts
Board Member
Mr. Roberts blends operational and education backgrounds to provide valuable counsel to businesses
to improve their back-office and operational flows.
As a former business attorney and entrepreneur with corporate experience in companies like State Street Corp., Verizon Mobile, and the U.S. military, Mark’s experience is heavy in operations, team-building, and streamlining processes. Mark assists companies and organizations in improving operations by implementing business fundamentals, as well as efficient and effective coordination between operational silos. Mark's qualifications include Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, and a Juris Doctoate.
Blessed to be married to his business partner, Tiffani Roberts, Mark is energized and committed to
sharing his experience and blessing other entrepreneurs and businesses. This is his way of paying his
good fortune forward.
Timothy C. Dunn
Board Member
Timothy C. Dunn is a founding board member of the Price of Freedom Foundation.
Mr. Dunn is a business attorney and member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators who use his skillset advance the work of the Price of Freedom Foundation.
Mr. Dunn grew up in the greater Nashville area calls it his home. After earning his bachelor's degree in Global Studies from the University of Tennessse Knoxville and his MBA from Indiana University of Indianapolis, he founded Quantum Law and Consulting where he provides businesses and individuals with a range of legal solutions.
Keith Hayden
Biographer
Keith Hayden is a volunteer military biographer and marketing strategist for The Price of Freedom Foundation.
He is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served as a personnel officer and Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Keith is a certified math teacher whose specialties also include authorship, music, audio production, coding, and languages. He is also the founder of Hayden Academy Collective (HAC) Studios, whose mission is to help others enter and have success in the creator economy.
Neena Mitchell
Video Editor
Neena Mitchell is a video editor and motion graphics artist in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Video and Film.
She enjoys creating things and learning new techniques when it comes to certain projects she's working so that she can express her creative and storytelling side.
She has filmed and edited Cricket commercials at three different locations and a documentary about the functions of MC1 Nashville.
Jonathan Lankford
Website Consultant
Jonathan Lankford grew up in Madison, Tennessee. His uncle was an Army chaplain, his father was deployed in the Army National Guard, his brother was in the Nuclear Power Training Unit of the Navy, and his nephew was an aeronautical engineer in the Navy.
Jonathan has a graduate degree in education and was a university lecturer and guidance counselor for 13 years in Vietnam, where he also spent a great deal of time with those doing Christian nonprofit work.
He started in information technology in 2018. He now lives in Portland, Tennessee, and works in technical support for an international Christian education software publisher. He also owns Aviv Sites, a Builderall certified agency that serves organizations, the self-employed, and local small businesses.
Terri Register
Board Member
Terri Register is the Vice President of Operations for Young Professionals in International Affairs (YPIA). YPIA is a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. that brings together globally-minded citizens in a neutral space to engage in international affairs.
Terri has served in the U.S. nonprofit sector for 14 years and has coordinated initiatives in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Oceania.
She has scaled programs through capacity building, fundraising, development, grants management, strategic partnerships, and impact evaluation. She has experience collaborating with community organizations, universities, U.S. federal departments, social enterprises, corporations, and foundations.
Her passion is serving grassroots organizations and social enterprises that have a heart for all communities. She is a native North Carolinian with a passion for learning languages and is proficient in Spanish and French.

Price of Freedom Foundation founder and board members are based in the Nashville metropolitan area. We are less than 60 miles from Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Dvision and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
